Tiny Tots Combo

This Class is designed to give our little ones a taster of all styles of dance, without them having to spend hours in multiple class and running up costs. In this class they will be try styles such as tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary and start to develop strength and flexibility for Acro. This class is designed for students to move their bodies, use their imaginations, and have fun, fun, FUN!

Mini Groovers

This class if for our little ones who have progressed through the tiny tot combo class. Their combo class will consist of jazz and hip hop with a seperate technique and contemporary class as well as a seperate tap class. This class is designed to gain correct technique, strength, and flexibility and fun! Acro is offered as a separate class.

Juniors, Intermediate & Seniors

These classes like mentioned with Mini Groovers, progress through age groups. As the students’ progress in ability, skills will become harder to suit the student’s needs, but the overall intent is exercise, friends, and fun! During these classes this is where they tend to find their own unique spin on dancing. As with the Mini Groovers these classes will have a separate tap, contemporary and Acro class offered to them.

Adults & Opens

This class is designed for older students and adults who want to either return to dance or try it! In this class fun and fitness is our main priority! During this class we will work of fitness, strength, and flexibility with implemented UMovement practices, but in a fun and carefree environment, which usually ends up with lots of laughs at my expense from things I’ll say. With this is mind you’ll either get fit from dancing or laughing so hard! We will be offering styles such as cabaret, jazz, and hip hop during this year, with a separate adults tap class and combined senior/open contemporary & technique class.

P.D.A.U.T Tap Syllabus - Pullars Dance Academy Unique Technique

All tap classes are taught through the Pullar’s Syllabus. We start the year learning their exam syllabus work, with the classes named to reflect the grade level. Students can decide throughout the year whether they want to sit their exams after giving the technique a go. The exam consists of 10 steps and a dance, and once they have passed, they receive an exam result, certificate, and coloured crystal star (Colour reflective of grade level). We aim for our exams to take place ¾ of the way through the year. Our exam results are always outstanding with a 100% success rate. Once exams are over and technique has been taught concert preparation begins!

AcroDance - Acrobatic Arts Syllabus

During this class students will learn from the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus. This syllabus consists of flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering, and tumbling. This class helps students with coordination, flexibility, and teamwork. During this class they will work to progress individually and as a team, due to partner Acro. This class is based on skill purely, so students don’t feel like they are behind or don’t belong, this means that both classes are mixed ages. However, don’t think you are the odd one out because you might be taller, you may also be stronger which means you are the perfect base for partner Acro. As students progress through the syllabus, they will move up in levels, similar to tap. This class can NOT be taken for students 3 years or under. This is due to the growth and development of children.
